Content Marketing Manager
About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on, creative Content Marketing Manager to help us turn ideas, SME input, and rough concepts into published, distributed content across our blog, social channels, and more. This role is ideal for someone who loves making content and wants to grow their skills across writing, SEO, multimedia, social, and distribution. You won’t be expected to be a subject-matter expert or a senior strategist, but you will be expected to produce content yourself, learn quickly, and develop strong instincts for what works.
You do not need to be an AI expert to succeed in this role, but you should expect to learn and be encouraged to use AI in your workflow.
You’ll have support and direction, but you’ll also have real ownership and room to grow.
What you’ll do
Content creation & execution
- Edit and publish blog posts and supporting visual assets
- Turn SME input (notes, interviews, outlines) into engaging content
- Help ensure content is polished, accurate, and on-brand
- Work directly in our CMS to publish and update content
Social & distribution
- Own and manage social channels to engage our audience
- Adapt content for different formats and platforms
- Help test and iterate on messaging, hooks, and formats
- Develop intuition for what resonates with our audience
Performance basics
- Apply SEO fundamentals (structure, headings, internal linking, metadata)
- Review basic performance metrics and help refine content over time
- Analyze social media KPIs to provide insight and strategic guidance
Creative & visual support
- Create simple visuals or leverage designed templates in tools like Canva or Adobe
- Support campaigns with basic creative and ad content
- Help repurpose content across formats (blog → social → short-form)
- Experience with video is a plus
Collaboration & growth
- Work with SMEs and teammates to gather inputs and ship content
- Receive feedback and direction, and apply it quickly
- Occasionally support other marketing initiatives as needed
What we’re looking for
- 2–4 years experience in content marketing, writing, or a related role
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
- Clear creative instincts and interest in making content people enjoy
- Comfortable learning and applying SEO and distribution best practices
- Willingness to work hands-on and take ownership of execution
- Organized, curious, and eager to grow your skill set
- Comfortable working with imperfect inputs and iterating
Nice to have
- Experience publishing content in a CMS (we use Hubspot)
- Exposure to social media publishing or content repurposing
- Basic design or multimedia experience
- Interest in analytics, SEO, or performance marketing
